PURPOSE:To attain a multiwindow display capable of superposing even in respective directions of a vertical direction and a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with plural display data RAMS 9a, 9b in which data to be displaied are stored respectively in plural display blocks to be displayed on screens, a character RAM 12 storing character dot data and outputting font dot data responding to data from respective display data RAMS 9a, 9b, a selector 14 selecting color code data and atribute code data outputted from plural display data RAMS 9a, 9b and outputting them to an output circuit 2, plural shift resisters 13a, 13b storing font dot data from the character ROM 12 at every block, a mixing circuit 16 selecting data from respective shift registers 13a, 13b based on the decision about which display blocks has priority and outputting them to the output circuit 2. |
