ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVE ROLLER

PURPOSE:To produce an electric conductive roller whose characteristics are not varied by an environmental change. CONSTITUTION:An electric conductive elastic layer 11, a resistance regulating layer 12 and a protective layer 13 are successively laminated on a mandrel 10. The resistance regulating layer 12 is made of epichlorohydrin homopolymer rubber and the protective layer 13 is formed with water-soluble nylon. Since property of not absorbing moisture is especially imparted by the combination of the resistance regulating layer 12 with the protective layer 13, the resulting electric conductive roller does not undergo a change in the volume resistivity due to a humidity change and can maintain stable electric conductivity.
