发明名称 PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a photoelectric conversion device to be easily assembled and stabilized in optical input current and to obtain a high input current by a method wherein a light emitting element and a photodetector are provided onto leads arranged at different positions on the same plane, and a soft and transparent resin of low stress is provided to cover the elements. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 11 and a photodetector 12 are arranged on leads 13 and 14 which are provided on the same plane making their ends confront each other as separated. The elements 11 and 12 are covered with a transparent low stress spherical resin which constitutes an optical path between the elements 11 and 12, where the resin 15 is soft and flexible and gives no stress to the elements 11 and 12. Furthermore, light emitted from the element 11 is well detected by the element 12 passing through the resin 15, and the resin 15 is almost free from the large pressure of a resin 16. As the elements 11 and 12 are arranged on a straight line, an assembly operation can be carried out through the same device and lessened in number of processes. As the resin 15 is formed hemispherical, it can withstand the high pressure of the transfer molding resin 16, in result an optical path can be protected against dispersion in length or the like and distortion.
