The invention relates to a compressible fitting for producing a non-detachable sealed connection of pipes, which has at least one end which is of hook-shaped cross-section, is constructed in the manner of a bead, holds a round sealing ring and can be compressed with the pipe, and a region which connects thereto, is of cylindrical construction, extends in the longitudinal direction, is provided at the end with a bead-shaped depression (acting as a stop for the smooth-ended pipe which can be pushed in) and connects to the region characterising the type of fitting. In order to provide a compressible fitting which can be produced cost-effectively while maintaining the known rapid connection technology it is proposed that the region characterising the type of fitting be constructed as a cast or stamped base body (2, 9), which is produced from a metallic or non-metallic material, which, with a standardised connecting piece (3, 3', 3''), produced from sheet metal, has, in a known manner, an end (4, 4', 4'') which is constructed in the manner of bead and holds a round sealing ring (5, 5''), and a region (6, 6', 6''), which connects thereto, is of cylindrical construction and is provided at the end with a bead-shaped depression (7, 7', 7'') which acts as a stop for the smooth-ended pipe which can be pushed in. …<IMAGE>… |
