PURPOSE: To use a labeled ligand selected from antibody group to laminin fragment, and detect a metastatic abscess cell bonded thereto. CONSTITUTION: On the basis of a ground substance on a laminin fragment guided by protease, this area is isolated to select a laminin fragment having specific binding capacity is selected as a labeled ligand. This labeled ligand has only one binding site to a cell matrix receptor, and this receptor has high affinity to a receptor binding area on a laminin molecule. It is also present on the cancerous cell or epithelial cell surface of person, and can be isolated from the extract of plasma membrane. On the basis of this type, the cell receptor of laminin which is the labeled ligand revealed by a metastatic cell is detected and quantified by a method as a radioimmunoassay to which binding analysis is effective, or a highly metastatic abscess cell is separated from a mixed cell group. |
