PURPOSE:To prevent contact of a suction nozzle with an upper surface of a board by eliminating to mount or mounting an electronic component at a position deviated in an allowable range if an interference of the upper surface of the board surrounding a recess with the nozzle is judged by judging means. CONSTITUTION:After a component is recognized by a recognition unit 16, entire chip component 4 and suction nozzle 12 are introduced into a recess 88 or not is judged. Then, when a recognized positional deviation is corrected to be mounted, whether the nozzle 12 is brought into contact with the board 5 and an upper surface 87 or not is judged. In the case of judging the contact, an end of the nozzle 12 is so deviated in an opposite direction from the deviating direction as to be fed by a clearance a from the end of the recess 88. If it falls within the allowable range of the deviation, it is deviated thus and mounted. |
