PURPOSE: To realize a function of a concentrator by using an optical means, which successively brings about message cells, which arrive at many input lines statistically and synchronously or asynchronously, on an output line in a switching device having route selection and queue functions. CONSTITUTION: An optical pass time harp L is connected to output ends k0,...kz of at least one optical space switching matrix K connected to the input end of an optical switching device on the input side, and output ends of this harp L are collectively connected to an output end (a) of the optical switching device through a common multiplexer. |
