PURPOSE:To miniaturize an optical equipment and to improve operability by performing focusing and/or variable power adjusting with an actuator by using one operating member. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 provided in a lens has an interruption function, a memory and a timer counter. A manual ring 2 for performing manual focusing and manual variable power adjusting, which is provided in a lens barrel, is operated to rotate at the time of performing focusing and operated to straight advance at the time of performing variable power adjusting. The output of a detecting means 4 detecting the rotating motion and the position of the straight advancing direction of the manual ring 2 is connected to the input port of the microcomputer 1. Therefore, either or both at the same time of the control of a motor for focusing by operating the rotation of the manual ring 2 and the control of a motor for adjusting variable power by operating the straight advancing of the ring 2 are performed. |
