PURPOSE:To provide the pictorial communication telephone set by allowing a receiver side to select a received picture properly and to set its area or the like without a complicated operation by a sender itself at a sender side. CONSTITUTION:When a receiver side desires to select a camera input section or a document camera input section 2 at a sender side and to control an oscillating function and a zoom function, an opposite picture input means operation section 18 at the receiver side enters control information controlling the camera input section or the document camera input section 2. When the sender side receives the entered control information, a control signal reception detection section 19 detects the reception and the camera input section or the document camera input section 2 at the sender side is controlled based on the detected control information. |
