PURPOSE: To provide a computer conference system with which respective work stations can participate in a conference, via a dynamic network to be successively subscribed/unsubscribed. CONSTITUTION: Each participant station must establish one or two, preferably at least, physical communication links with other stations. Each participant station maintains a network route designation table storing data concerning the other stations, to which each participant station is indirectly (logically) connected to the physically connected station. When establishing a physical connection to the other station, based on the contents in that route designation table, each participant station exchanges data with the other station. According to these data, the respective route designation tables are updated.
