PURPOSE:To so facilitate replacing edition of electronic components of a tape as to hold electronic components of only a non-defective components by connecting to a tape without partly omitting. CONSTITUTION:An electronic component (a) of a lower tape 12 is characteristic inspected by a first inspecting unit, and the component (a) which is inspected to be defective is cut at a base of a lead (b) by a cutter at a component removing part, and the component (a) is removed. The component (a) of an upper tape 22 in which the component (a) being defective is previously removed is obliquely cut at ends of leads (b), (b) of both sides by nippers. When the lead (b) having no component (a) of the lower tape 12 is stopped at a lead removing unit 11, it is inspected by a second inspecting unit 16, and a lower chuck 13 disposed thereat removes the lead (b) remaining at the tape 12. An upper chuck 23 removes the component (a) together with the lead (b), and inserts the lead (b) of the lower tape 12 to a removed place. |
