PURPOSE: To write/read data into/from an optical recording medium at high speed. CONSTITUTION: In a device 10 for writing and reading data into/from the optical medium, the medium changes when it is operated by modulated light which shows an image and whose intensity is strong and the image is recorded in writing. A micro mirror device(DMD) 130 which can be deformed receives electric input showing the image to be recorded. A light source 120 whose intensity is strong illuminates DMD 130 and it reflects modulated light on an image- forming lens 140. The lens converges the image on the medium 160. Since the multiple images are recorded on the same medium, various means scan the medium. In reading, the medium is illuminated by uniform light whose intensity is small. DMD supplies uniform light and the light passes through the medium which is previously recorded and it reaches an image acquisition device 170. |
