The position-independent rotary piston IC engine has a trochoidal housing. The rotor consists of an eccentric shaft carrying an oil-cooled triangular piston.Oil for lubrication and cooling is delivered from an enclosed oil container (24) to the piston (6) and inner chamber (23) by a first pump (16,17,18,21), and to an oil cooler (32) and bearings (9,10,26) by a second pump (25).
