PURPOSE:To obtain the transmission speed switching method and the transmission speed changeover device in which the possibility of a data discrimination error is small with the simplified device. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a waveform generating means 19 having delay devices 10, 11 to prevent propagation of an error, an EX-OR circuit 12 to detect the state of the delay devices 10, 11 and an AND circuit 14 outputting a phase adjustment bit in response to the result of detection and an end timing 13 of high speed data. Then the phase adjustment bit is interposed between high speed data and low speed data for a period when the high speed data are switched into low speed data sent in multiple using the same clock signal as that of the high speed data, two kinds of states of the delay devices 10, 11 are provided and the data are sent. |
