PURPOSE:To save the labor for office word wherein a printed surface is automatically recorded and handled by recognizing the pattern of the output of an image reader and reading out a code printed on paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:A read control circuit 20 sends its output to an image reader driving circuit when the code printed on the paper money 14 passes by an image reader 17 to energize the image reader 17. The image reader 17 converts the code printed on the paper money 14 into an electric signal. At this time, the read control circuit 20 confirms the arrangement direction of the moved paper money 14, on the basis of information sent out by a discrimination sensor 16; when the arrangement direction is opposite, the output of the image reader 17 is converted and then the kind of the paper money 14 and the image of the code are stored in a storage means. The storage means stores the output of the image reader 17 and sends it out to a printing device 19. The printing device 19 prints the code, printed on the paper money 14, and the kind of the paper money 14 on the basis of the output of the read control circuit 20. |
