PURPOSE:To easily execute the analysis of a document format and learning/ conversion of title symbol information. CONSTITUTION:A document analyzing device 24 controlled by a CPU 11 fetches document data stored in a document storage area 28 at every line and analyzes the structure of the document data, extracts document arranging information from the result of its analysis, learns title symbol information executed by each component element classifications by relating it to its component and stores it as learning data in a document arrange information learning area 30. Also, at the time of format conversion, based on this learning data, a title symbol pattern is converted at every component thereof with respect to the document of an output object extracted in the same way, and its document format conversion is executed, and in accordance with arranging information subjected to format conversion, the document data of unified arranging information is outputted to a CRT 18 and a printer 22. |
