PURPOSE:To input all parentheses by the same operation, and to simplify the operating method by constituting the processor so that a candidate of the parenthesis can be selected by depressing a conversion key after inputting a parenthesis symbol. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 is provided with a dictionary means 8, a retrieving means 9, a selecting means 10, and a next candidate selecting means 11. In this case, in the CPU 1, whether an inputted unconverted character exists in a dictionary or not is retrieved by the retrieving means part 9. In the case the unconverted character exists in its dictionary, a first parenthesis symbol registered in the parenthesis symbol dictionary means part 8 is selected as a first candidate by a first candidate selecting means part 10. Also, the next candidate selection is executed successively by the next candidate selecting means part 11. For instance, by inputting a representative parenthesis symbol such as '1', etc., and depressing the conversion key, an inputtable parenthesis symbol can be known, therefore, the operating method is simplified. |
