PURPOSE:To quickly and exactly execute centering by providing a range designating means which can execute a centering processing within an arbitrary range in one row, and a head row depending means for executing the centering processing of the residual row, based on the range designation by a first row. CONSTITUTION:The position of a cursor for showing sentence information and position in the sentence information is displayed by a dispaly device 5, and while referring thereto, the range of centering is designated. A keyboard 1 is provided with a centering start key 11 for starting centering, an area designation key 12 for designating an area, a cursor key 13 for moving vertically and to the left and the right the cursor for designating a position, and a character key 17 for inputting a sentence. A CPU 2 contains a range designating means 2a which can execute a centering processing within an arbitrary range in a row, and a head depending means 2b for executing the centering processing of the residual line, based on the range designation by the first row, in the case the area of the centering processing becomes plural lines. |
