The pump consists of a housing (40) with suction (44A) and pressure (44B) ports, and a pipe section (46) which is connected to the housing and has apertures (56A, 56B) connected to the two ports (44A, 44B). The pipe section (46) also contains at least one shut-off element (RPA, RPB) which can move between a pumping position between the two apertures and a cleaning position, in which a cleaning tool can be passed through the pipe section.Each shut-off element is in the form of a scraper cleaner which can slide within the pipe section (46), which is equipped with deployable/retractable elements (60A, 60B, VIA, VIB) to immobilise the cleaners in the pumping position.The pipe section (46) is also equipped with compressed gas feed ports (72, 74) and sensors to control and monitor the positions of the shut-off elements.
