<p>PURPOSE:To realize the method suitable for the multi-channel broadcast receiver by selecting at least one kind of program simultaneously, attaining combinations of video and audio signals, and using a 2-screen television receiver or the like to display simultaneously video and audio signals of two kinds of programs. CONSTITUTION:When a kind of video and audio signals of a program to be displayed is commanded by a remote commander 5, a tuner section 1 is used to select a channel on which programs are multiplexed with an IF signal 10 and a demodulated digital signal is outputted. A decode section 2 applies error correction processing to the demodulated digital signal and extracts each multiplexed program through decoding and time division or the like. A program selection section 3 selects a video signal 11 of a program commanded to be extracted among programs and outputs the signal to a video signal processing section (not shown) and an audio selection section 4 selects an audio signal of the commanded program and outputs the signal to an audio signal processing section of a next stage.</p> |
