<p>PURPOSE: To provide an oscillator, capable of easily adjusting duty factor. CONSTITUTION: This oscillator is provided with a charger-discharger 1 which charges a capacitor by means of a constant-current source and discharges the capacitor according to a discharge control signal, a voltage comparator 2 which compares the voltages across both terminals of the capacitor with a reference voltage, and a monostable multivibrator 3 which is triggered by the output of the comparator 2 and generates the discharge control signal. Therefore, a short rectangular wave, having an accurately controlled duty factor, is generated by deciding the discharging period of the capacitor based on the time constant of the multivibrator 3.</p> |
