<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the sudden stoppage of an operation with a further simple constitution in a computer system using a power unit in which the life of a battery or the like is limited. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a frequency variable clock generating means 7 without the fixed frequency oscillator of a crystal or the like, which senses the voltage change of a power source 6, and generates a clock frequency corresponding to the voltage change, and digital equipments 2-5 of a digital computer 1 or the like which is operated by the clock oscillated by the frequency variable clock generating means. Thus, a system clock frequency is decreased according as the output voltage of the limited power source such as the battery is decreased, so that an operational response can be slow, and it is possible to avoid the sudden stoppage of the computer system by allowing a user to consider a battery exchanging period.</p> |
