<p>PURPOSE: To add a function capable of suppressing the detection of a return, particularly, by clatter and reverberation, taking out only an effective target echo, and avoiding a pseudo target detection to an echo ranging system using a matching filter processor. CONSTITUTION: Signals transmitted from a transmitter 10 generating a composite Doppler invariant signal and a projector 12 related thereto are reflected by a target, then received by a hydrophone (line) 14, and supplied to a receiver 13. In this receiver 13, processing such as beam formation is performed. The signal is sampled, digitized by a matching filter processor 16, and suppressed in reverberation and pseudo target by a gradient regulator 18 and a reverberation suppresser 20, and a target is detected by a maximum amplitude detector 22, and converted into a distance by a counter 28 and displayed.</p> |
