PURPOSE:To made the testing rack used at the time of performing a system test of an optical repeater small in the occupied floor area, and free from the fear that an optical fiber is damaged. CONSTITUTION:The testing rack is provided with a rack 10 having plural stages of repeater shelves 11 for mounting an optical repeater 1 respectively and a drum shelf 12 provided between the repeater shelves 11, for loading a drum 5 in the rear part, and a case 20 of a box shape installed to be inserted and drawn out freely in the respective front parts of the drum shelf 12, and constituted so that a started end side and a final end side of an optical fiber 3 wound round the drum 5 are drawn out into the case 20 respectively, the start end of the optical fiber 3 is connected to an input/output optical fiber 2 drawn out of the optical repeater 1 of the upper stage, the final end is connected to the input/output optical fiber 2 drawn out of the optical repeater 1 of the lower stage, and the respective surplus length of the start end side and the final end side of the optical fiber 3 is contained roughly circularly in the case 20. |
