<p>PURPOSE:To stably and rapidly set the delay time of a head changeover signal for a magnetic recording/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:When the head changeover timing (switching point) is discriminated as in process of the adjustment by the level of an input port 32 whereto a changeover switch 31 is connected, the resistance value of a variable resistor 21 is subjected to A/D conversion by an A/D converter 22 to set the delay time for producing a head changeover signal, every time a signal PG indicating a drum rotation phase is inputted, or one time only in the case a CPU 27 of a microcomputer is reset. When the discrimination is made that the switching point is not in process of the adjustment, the A/D conversion is not performed and the head changeover signal is produced by using the delay time settled before.</p> |
