<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a microcomputer and an application set containing the microcomputer and furthermore to reduce the electromagnetic noises produced by the microcomputer in regard of an address output circuit of a microcomputer having a function to extend a memory to the outside. CONSTITUTION:An address bus 1 is provided to transmit the addresses in a microcomputer together with an address latch 2 which holds the addresses. An external memory selection signal 3 showing that an external memory is selected as an access destination is supplied together with an external address output signal 4. Then an output buffer 6 and an external address terminal 7 are added. The terminal 7 does not vary as long as the microcomputer has an access to an internal memory.</p> |
