METHOD AND SYSTEM THAT STORES APLURITY OF CHANGEABLE READ CHARACTER STRINGS AND KANJI CHARACTER STRINGS IN SYNTAXED DOCUMENTS

PURPOSE: To provide an improved method for editing reading phrases and Kanji (Chinese character) phrases. CONSTITUTION: A returned Kanji phrase and the reading phrase and book mark corresponding to the Kanji phrase are assembled as a new text node structure. A Kanji phrase structure and its corresponding reading phrase structure are assembled in the new text node structure at every Kanji phrase returned through a conversion process. The Kanji phrase contains a pointer indicating the corresponding reading phrase structure and the reading phrase structure contains a return pointer to the Kanji phrase. The Kanji phrase structure and reading phrase structure contain control information indicating the Kanji phrase structure substituting the reading phrase structure.
