SOLID POLYELECTROLYTE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To enhance ionic conductivity to enhance the electrochemical properties of an electrochemical element by heat curing a specific electrolyte composition made from electrolyte, a (metha) acrylate and a peroxycarbonate. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte composition containing 5-40 parts by weight of a (metha) acrylate and 0.005-5 parts by weight of a peroxycarbonate for 100 parts by weight of electrolyte is heat cured to provide a solid polyelectrolyte. The (metha) acrylate preferably contains bi-(or higher) functional acrylate by 30wt% or less. Use of the peroxycarbonate as a thermopolymerization initiator prevents gas from being generated from inside an electrochemical element made from the solid polyelectrolyte during operation. Therefore, ionic conductivity is high and integration and lamination of electrochemical elements are facilitated.
