<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a transporting mechanism transporting a selected magnetic tape from a store-box keeping many magnetic tape media to a recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:The transporting action of a first transporting mechanism 3 taking out the selected magnetic tape from the store-box 5 is executed by the instruction from a host device 1. And when the action is not executed normally, the same transporting action by a second transporting mechanism 4 is retried.</p> |
