INDUCTION HEATING COOKER

PURPOSE:To provide an induction heating cooker at low cost. CONSTITUTION:An induction heating cooker is provided with a load circuit 14 consisting of a resonance capacitor 13 and a heating coil 12; a DC power source 11; a switching element 15; a diode 16 connected in parallel to the switching element 15; a control circuit 17 for controlling the switching element 15; and a capacitance control means 18 for controlling the capacitance of the resonance capacitor 13. The series circuit in which the load circuit 14 is connected to the switching element 15 is connected to the output of the DC power source 11, and the switching element 15 is ON/OFF by the control circuit 17 at a determined period. The resonance capacitor 13 of the load circuit 14 is controlled by the capacitance control means 18 in such a manner that the capacitance is increased when the voltage between ends is low and the capacitance is decreased when the voltage between ends is high.
