<p>A peptide which is prepared by purifying the venom (FTX) originating in funnel web spider (Agelenopsis aperta (Spider Pharm)), has glutamate liberation inhibitor and calcium channel inhibitor activities, and has amino acid sequence (I), wherein the serine as the 46th residue is L-form or D-form. This peptide is useful for treating diseases of the cranial nerve system.</p> |
