A connecting terminal (1) for the output pin (2) of a vehicle battery (3), comprising at least one circuit (10, 15, 16, 20) forming a controlled switch between a conductor (2) connected to the pin (2) and a conductor (14, 17) connected to a post (11, 18) for attaching a power supply cable (12, 19). The circuit (10, 15, 16, 20) receives an external control signal for making and/or breaking an electrical connection between said conductors (13 and 14, 17). A battery (3) and a theft protection system for vehicles comprising said connecting terminal (1) are also provided. |
