SELF-CONTAINED, PROGRAMMABLE, NON-POSITIONAL SENSITIVE, VIBRATION ACTIVATED ALARM SYSTEM

An alarm system which is securely attached to an article for activating an alarm device when the article is moved. A programmable controller provides the operational routines which determine the function of the alarm system. Non-positional sensitive, vibration activated switching means are included for activating the alarm device when operated by movement of the article. The alarm system can be mounted in a water resistant enclosure that can be locked by a further switch that both physically locks the enclosure and electrically arms the device, and provides access to a secure compartment within the enclosure for battery storage.
