PURPOSE:To stabilize refluxing characteristic in the region from low load to high load by interlocking in a fixed relation the lever of fuel injection pump with the throttle valve of carburetor and at the same time by interrupting the refluxing of exhaust gas in a high-opening degree region of the throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:The intake and exhaust paths 1 and 2 are led to the exhaust gas refluxing path 4 with the interrupting valve 9. The throttle valve 3 of carburetor and the control lever 6 of the fuel injection pump 5 are connected with the link mechanism 7, and at the same time, the lever 6 is interlocked with the interrupting valve 9 by a coupling mechanism not illustrated in Fig. to interrupt the interrupting valve 9 at more than a certain opening degree of the lever 6. Furthermore, the link mechanism 7, consisting of the hollow rod 19 with the long hole 26 and the pin 25 sliding in the inside of the long hole 26, is connected in such a way that the throttle valve 3 is opened at a certain opening degree of the lever 6 and also fully opened before the fully opening of the lever 6. Thus, the refluxing of exhaust gas at the time low load can be exactly made and the refluxing amount is reduced as load increases. |
