<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of oil tanks and to reduce the length of the device by dividing the casing into three oil chambers with a larger and a smaller piston both fixed to a cam shaft and supplying operating oil to respective oil chambers for shifting the cam shaft. CONSTITUTION:A smaller piston 22 and a larger piston 23 are fixed to a cam shaft 21 and slidably fitted in a casing 24 forming three oil chambers A, B and C. The outer diameter D1 of the larger piston 23 is larger than the outer diameter d1 of the smaller piston 22. The diameter D2 of the cam shaft 21 in the oil chamber B is larger than the diameter d2 of the cam shaft 21 in the oil chamber A. Oil tanks 25, 26 and 27, each enclosing the operating oil 31, are connected to the oil chambers A, B and C, respectively. A control valve 28 is connected to the oil tanks 25, 26 and 27 to supply compressed air of the same pressure to those oil tanks 25, 26 and 27.</p> |
