<p>An electronic radiation imaging system with a detector unit which comprises a two-dimensional sensor element with mutual orthogonal stripes adapted to an x,y-detection and a receiver unit. A multiplicity generator in the detector unit on detecting an event generates differential signals representing the x,y position address of an event in the sensor element which are converted to analog differential signal and transmitted to receiver converted therein to a digital position address for the event said address being used in generating the radiation image. The multiplicity generator is connected to a multiplicity tester testing the validity of the x,y position address. The receiver unit may comprise a histogram generator for generating a histogram representation based on valid x,y address vectors generated in the course of a detection period.</p> |
