The present invention relates to a vehicle door lock arrangement which comprises a lock mechanism having a locking arm (1) which can be moved between a locking position, in which the door opening mechanism is latched, and a mechanism release position in which the door can be opened. According to the invention, the lock arrangement includes a latching device (6) which is mounted within thevehicle door so as to be inaccessible from within and from outside the vehicle and which is manoeuvered to and from a latching position through the agency of an electric signal, the locking arm of the door lock mechanism being latched against movement when the latching device is in its latching position. The lock arrangement also includes a control means (10) which is intended to manoeuver the latching device from its latching position in response to receiving a predetermined activation signal. |
