Roof protecting against ultra-violet rays

The clear transparent sheet (1) forms a shield from ultra-violet radiation or a filter for it. This is held taut over a structure comprising upright bars (8) and stays (1"). These form it into a roof-shape, above and clear of the ground. The sheet can be in sections and tubes can be used in place of the upright bars. The sheet can be held taut by pins retracting into the tubes when not in use. Alternatively it can have eyes at the four corners, fitting over the upright bars or tubes. It can be stiffened by the insertion of one or more bars.
