PURPOSE:To accurately restart laser machining without leaving a part unmachined with respect to the laser machining restart method for interruption of machining during laser machining. CONSTITUTION:When abnormality of machining is detected at a machining point P3 after laser machining is advanced for a distance L0 from a machining point P1, a CNC receives the machining abnormality detection signal to start the retry processing. That is, the CNC stops laser machining and stores the position of the machining point P3 and retracts a machining head in the Z-axis direction by a distance h0 and moves the machining head backward for a distance L2 along a machining path L where it goes till then. When backward movement is completed at a point P6, the gap between a nozzle and a work is controlled, and laser machining is restarted at the time of completion of approximation. If the CNC receives the machining abnormality detection signal again on the way of forward movement of the machining head from a machining point P7 to a machining point P4, the retry processing is executed again. When the repeating number of times exceeds n0, for example, three, execution of this machining block is stopped and skipped to start the execution of the next machining block. |
