摘要 The shelf life of pre-cut leaves for use in a salad will be extended by reducing the tissue moisture from surface water free leaves by uniform evaporative drying to produce a weight loss of at least 2 %, packaging the so dried leaves in a modified atmosphere and storing them at a temperature between 0 and 10 DEG C.
