WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A water management system for cleansing water from baths, showers and hand basins and supplying the cleansed water to W.C.s. The water management system has a settling chamber (9) with an overflow to a discharge chamber (10). Associated with the lower part of the settling chamber (9) is a means such as a fluidising unit (20) for removing the heavier than water contaminants which have settled out in the settling chamber (9). A separator such as a hydrocyclone (4) may additionally be provided to remove contaminants which are lighter than water from the water.
