A compressed-gas container for sporting air weapons consists of a tube (1) which at one end forms a drawn-in bottom (2) and at the other end has a closing head (3) equipped with a valve (4) opening when the container is screwed onto the weapon. To keep the pressure in the container approximately constant, there is an additional valve (9; 9a; 9b) which leads to the open air, the prestressing force of the spring (15) which loads the valve body (13) of this additional valve (9; 9a; 9b) being preadjustable. <IMAGE>
