The leakage testing device uses a disc (32) fitted between 2 pipeline flanges for interrupting the gas flow, with 2 separate channels coupled to a pressure or leakage measuring device at one end and communicating with the pipeline on opposite sides of the disc at the other end.Pref. the disc has a radial channel on each side extending from the disc periphery to a point which lies within the pipeline, each receiving an embedded pipe.
