The appts. includes a cable (3') for connecting with e.g. a control appts. The cable contains a protection line (31), a voltage supply line (32), at least one signal line (33,34) and also a zero line (35).The individual signal contacts (13,14) of the appts. have associated signal lamps (4,5) e.g. LED's which can be detected externally. The signal lamps are electrically connected directly or indirectly between the zero line and the corresponding signal lines associated with the contacts.
