Pivot for tipping cab for truck

The cab (2) is fitted with hinge brackets (8) which are pivot mounted in the centre of each elastomer bearing (3). A roller (4) is fitted to each hinge bracket to run over the outside of the elastomer bearings and prevent the cab mounting from twisting during tipping.The roller is fitted between parallel flanges of the hinge bracket, with the bearing gripped between the flanges. The outside of the bearing has a hardened track bounded by radial ribs to locate the roller.
