Plant producing components from thermoplastic material in a fixed mould consists of a container for the thermoplastic, an extruder, and a feeder connecting these two. The extruder is movable, and the feeder has at least one device to compensate for the extruder movements.The granules of material are supplied from the container (3) through a suction system and flexible tubing (5) so that they can be used to feed any one of several moulds (2) from the extruder (4), the tubing (5) having loops for the purpose. The extruder (4) is mounted on a track (7) and moved by a suitable drive system.
