There is described an apparatus for use in conjunction with a vehicle (10) for laying and/or retrieving one or more road cones (16) comprising an inclined ramp (14) and means (12) for mounting the ramp (14) with respect to the vehicle (10) such that a lower end thereof is proximate the surface on which said road cones (16) are to be laid and/or retrieved, the ramp (14) being adapted to retain the or each of said road cones (16) as said road cones (16) move along the ramp (14). There is also described a road cone (16) adapated for use with the above apparatus. |
