Heater has at least one fan which pushes air charged with dust particles through the housing in partic. a heat storage with a core in which a heating element heats, along given current path. The core is used as an air vent.A catalytic after-burner is provided in the current of the heated air. The burner is positioned in the air current where during operation a sufficiently high initial temp. is reached for the catalytic process.
