The molding apparatus includes a basic frame, a frame installed on the basic frame for pivot in the area of a predetermined angle by the first pivot driving means a frame, for sliding for a predetermined distance, installed to be shifted in straight course in parallel with the revolving side on the pivot frame, a knife frame for pivoting installed on the sliding frame around the axis which is perpendicular to the supplying direction of the sponge and the sliding movement of the sliding frame and having the knife in circular arc being, a means for trembling the knife in direction of the length of the knife, a device for transporting the sponge material at right angle with the straight-shifting direction of the knife toward the circular arc protruding part of the knife, and a means for controlling the operations of resp. parts, thereby automizing the full processes from inserting the sponge to providing the manufactured shoulder pad with an efficient work-place arrangement and various type shoulder pads with a single apparatus.
