The proposal is for a modulator assembly for a hydraulic brake system, in which the housings (13, 15, 21, 23, 29, 31, 34 and 35) of the individual elements, such as the driving electric motor, the pressure generator pump, the accumulator, dampers, solenoid valves and the return pump, are connected rigidly in a self-supporting manner by pipes (4, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 22, 24, 32, 33, 36 and 37) acting as supporting elements and are connected in a hydraulically leaktight manner by welding or soldering. In this way, it is possible to make the assembly as small as possible and to adapt it in an optimum manner to the restricted space conditions under the bonnet of a motor vehicle. This manner of construction is also served by the idea of designing the housings (13, 15, 21, 23, 29, 31, 34 and 36) of the individual elements as turned parts of optimized weight. <IMAGE> |
